Uzmee Krakovszki
Uzmee Krakovszki was born and raised in Mongolia.
When Uzmee was a little girl she liked watching people's faces on the street. It sometimes caused problems when she went out with her parents. Especially her dad who considered her hobby of watching strangers a little crazy. “Why are you doing this?” he would ask, but she didn't know either, it was just so much fun.
At age 10, she started modifying dresses for her sisters and styling and correcting her mother's and friend's hair and makeup. Even though her mom liked what Uzmee was doing to her face, she wasn’t very supportive. After graduating from high school Uzmee moved to Nierenberg, Germany and attended university for 2 years.
While there, she met her husband, the first person to notice and support her passion to become a makeup artist. Soon after they married, she left the University to attend the Malu Wilz Makeup School in Aachen, Germany and the Kutz Breimer Cosmetology School in Nierenberg where she graduated with honors.
The cosmetology school principal loved Uzmee’s makeup skills and personality so much that she offered her a job as a makeup instructor. After two years as an instructor, a door opened in 2005, and she moved to LA where she took advantage of more opportunities to perfect her skills in character and prosthetics by attending the Cinema Makeup School.
In 2006 after posting her profile on Craigslist.org, she was spotted by a Crystal Agency artist who walooking for an assistant to help out on a fashion show for a local designer.
In 2007 Uzmee became a staple at www.CrystalAgency.com. She works with many celebrities and fashion clients including Natalie Zea, Gena Ravera, Nick D’Agosto and Billy Baldwin as well as magazines like Jezebel, Statement, In Touch, and USA Weekend.
“I love my profession,” says Uzmee, “This is definitely my dream job.”
Uzmee speaks fluent Mongolian, German and English and is available for bookings through Crystal Agency in Los Angeles at (323) 906-9600. |
