ARTISTS INTERESTED IN REPRESENTATION

While we cannot represent everyone who contacts us, we also don’t want to be the last one to know about the next great talent, so we encourage you to review our current talent needs and submit yourself according to the criteria and instructions included here.

Each submission should be addressed to bookings@crystalagency.com.

It must be accompanied by:

1. Letter of intent
2. 5-4X5’s of your best images at 72 or 96dpi.
3. Complete contact information
4. (first and last name, professional title, current mailing address, email address, home and/or cell phone number.
5. Resume in MS Word
6. City where you currently reside
7. URL (other than MySpace.com)

We appreciate the fact that you are probably willing to travel, but honestly, most clients are not going to fly an artist into Los Angeles or New York to do makeup, hair or wardrobe unless you are already their favorite artist because there are a plethora of talented artists living in these huge markets.

The agency gets a 20% commission on ALL of your bookings. There is no such thing as a house account (an account that you bring to the agency that is not commissionable to the agency). Everyone here plays by the same rules.

If you submit your work to the agency and don’t get signed, don’t get discouraged. There are lots of other agencies in town, and you can always resubmit in a few months.

We do our best to give feedback, as long as you follow the instructions that we have included here for submitting your work and images.

We do not review MySpace or Model Mayhem pages. We do not have time to login to community sites to review artists pages.

When submitting your images to us, pick carefully. We are looking for range and not extremes.

While not impossible to get signed without any commercial work in your book, it is highly unlikely in a large market like Los Angeles, New York, Miami or Chicago so please work to fill your book with work you have been commissioned to do. In other words, someone has hired you and put your name on a call sheet.

then you can expect a response within the next couple of weeks. If not, please resend with the requested information and we will happily respond. Make sure that the subject line includes the word SEEKING REPRESENTATION or ASSISTANTS LIST.

Please note that we do not open attachments that come without an introduction that includes the information listed above.

After submitting your work, please give us time to review it. If you don't hear from us in a week then please feel free to follow up with a phone call or an email.
